Our Environment

We are proud to live within the beautiful Mount Penang Parklands precinct.

We pay our respect to this land that provides for us.

We acknowledge and pay respect to the ancestors that walked and managed these lands for many generations before us.

We acknowledge and recognise all Aboriginal people and we pay respect to Elders who are the knowledge keepers and teachers.

We acknowledge the Darkinjung people who are the traditional custodians of the land on which Parklands Community Preschool stands. We pay respect to the Elders past and present and future leaders of the Darkinjung nation. 

We are mindful of acknowledging the Darkinjung people with the children when we gather each day for morning meeting by meaningfully sharing this Acknowledgement of Country:-
